My name is Yaxaira and I am a visual development and background artist.
I began my career as a costume designer in Southern California, before obtaining a BA in Performance Design at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, in Cardiff, Wales. It was there that I developed a passion for animation.
I now work professionally as a freelance artist for various independent animation studios and game companies.
Apart from drawing, I enjoy reading, drinking whiskey, listening to David Bowie, and watching 1970s New Hollywood movies.
